Experience:
Raised in Meriden, Kansas, on a small Gelbvieh cow-calf operation, Jack Roenne developed a love for agriculture at an early age. He attended Kansas State University to pursue a career in the agricultural sector, earning a B.S. in Agribusiness with a minor in Animal Science. While at Kansas State, Jack was actively involved in clubs, professional associations, and agricultural roles that strengthened his desire to serve the agricultural community.

After K-State, Jack attended Washburn University School of Law, in order to develop his skillset to become a practical lawyer by studying agricultural, business, and property law. His internships with the Kansas Department of Agriculture and a general practice firm in Salina, along with his current position and experience at Watkins Calcara, have strengthened his foundation in integrity, communication, and honest client service. Jack moved to Scott City with his wife, Clarissa, who is also with the firm, to raise their family and provide citizens of Western Kansas easier access to competent and effective legal counsel.

As a transactional attorney, he helps clients navigate the opportunities and challenges that arise in agricultural, business, and property matters by developing practical, effective solutions.
